I believe the IPad is one of the coolest pieces of technology I have ever experienced. I have only played with this technology once in a verizon store, but the touch screen and amount of applications avalilable are amazing!
I think that the iPhone and Android phones are by far the coolest piece of technology I have been able to use. They have the ability to do so many different things from paying bills to price checking/matching different items. They make everyday living so much easier and convenient. Everyday it seems like I find new features available to use and it only gets better. I can only imagine what else will be on the newer generations of these types of phones!
I think Skype and webcams are the coolest technology I have used. Coming from a tight-knit Italian family it's hard being away from them while I'm here at school. My webcam and Skype have given me and my family a way to keep in touch and see each other. My little cousin, who is in 2nd grade, loves it too and shows me all of his art projects and how his handwriting is improving. My grandma loves it too and was so amazed the first time she was on Skype. I think she would also agree this is the coolest technology out there.
iPad! I think the iPad is the coolest technology I have ever dealt with. Everyone always looks at them like they're stupid because they look just like a big iPod touch but it's way more than that. They are a great learning tool, productivity tool, music tool, entertainment tool all in one sleek design. Theres thousands of apps for them. I saw a commercial the other day about an app that shows the body in different planes and dissection, that would be a tremendous app for helping in Physical Education and anatomy and physiology classes and regular health education. I think before everyone talks down on the iPad's they need to have one in their hands first.
IPAD!!! I think it is so neat how we are advancing in technology. I wish I had an iPad so I can get all of the apps to mess around with. I feel like if I had one though I would not get any homework done because I would just be playing games on it the whole time. Verizon also offers a product that is like an iPad but is powered by Android. It is useful, but it is not the same as having an iPad. Then again an iPad is so much more expensive, but is still amazing!!
I'd have to say after the presentation on language tools, the dragon dictation was by far the most impressive type of technology I have seen so far. A lot of others have posted about the iPad, and yes that is also impressive, but this type of technology is really blowing me away. It can convert everything you say into a document just like that. Still in awe.
I also think that the iPad is absolutely amazing. I watch Dr. Leight take our attendance on it every single day and it seems amazing. I have played around on a few iPads that my friends own. I absolutely love it. I have the iPod touch and it blows it out of the water. People say that the iPod touch is exactly the same as the iPad but its really not. The iPad as so much more! I believe the iPad was a great invention and I am hoping to own one very soon :)
I think that the andriod operating system in phones is the best technology. It is easy to use for beginners and has limitless uses for experienced users. I feel it is better then apple software because it is way more advanced if you know how to customize it. Andriod is not restriced by the software you can alter anything and add any thing you choose. This can be dangerous if you dont know what your doing but is amazing if you know what your doing. The reason being your phone or tablet becomes basically your comuputer in your pocket with programs like office, firefox, emulators, music, movies all on your phone.
I also agree that the iPad is the coolest piece of technology. I don't own one but I hope to soon! The coolest app I found on the iPad was the Star Walk app. This app allows you to track and discover more than 9,000 stars, planets, constellations and messiers. If you have an iPad I would recommend to buy this app!
I also believe that the iPad is the coolest piece of technology available right now. I do not own one at the moment but hopefully I will in the near future. The iPad offers so many apps as well as basically being a laptop. With the iPad you can do everything you could do with a regular computer and more, and it is still compact and easy to handle. The apps available for the iPad are so useful in not only education but everyday life. I believe that in the very near future everyone will have an iPad and computers will begin to become less common.
I enjoy using the apple products and am looking forward to buying and iPad very soon. There are a lot of new technologies out there for physical education. The xbox connect is a great way for student to stay active while having fun. I feel that this is just the beginning of new technology for physical education teachers to use is there lessons.
I agree in thinking that the iPad is the hottest piece of technology out there right now. I do not own my own, but my mom has the first edition and I love to play around on her's. I would love to own the second edition because I love the camera feature. I would enjoy skyping on the iPad. Apple never seems to fail with their new technology!
The Iphone is probabably what I'm going to have to say is the coolest piece of technology I've ever used. Prior to actually owning one I use to think what the big deal was about it (probably bc I didn't have one hah). I got the iphone4 about a month after it came out and I mean literally use it for everything. I always have it on me and if there is ever a scenerio where I need an answer for something I just look it up. It amazes me that it is able to act like a typical computer and get the information it does to me in such a small amount of time. The apps can also be a whole other topic itself, it's practically endless. I have apps everywhere from ScoreCenter to inClass (schedule organizer for your classes).
The droid and Iphones are probably the coolest piece of technology out right now. I just upgraded to a droid smartphone in november and it is by far one of the best choices i have ever made. Having the internet in your pocket instead of going to library, looking up maps when im lost, and all of the countless apps that are avaliable is a must need now. Although i still have 2 years left on my plan, the next step is an Iphone and i can not wait to explore the upcoming technology that will be availiable by then!
